When working inside Podcraftr, minutes are spent when your podcast audio for an episode is produced for the first time, or when a segment's audio is regenerated beyond the length of the original podcast.
This means that if you have "Auto-Production" enabled within your Podcast Settings, your minutes will be deducted based on the length of your podcast every time you submit Podcraftr new content.
If you have "Auto-Production" disabled, your minutes will be deducted when you manually click the "Produce Audio" button within your episode editor.
